This is a rather late addition to this thread but I thought I would add my 2 cents anyway. If I had seen this thread prior to purchasing my Sims cab I would never have done so. I have encountered every installation problem listed in this thread. That said I should also mention that I am fairly handy with building and installation projects. In my youth I even built and drove from the ground up two different Modifies Race Cars. I made the decision, for simplicity sake, at the time of purchase to have the dealer install the cab.

Well the cab kit came and was missing parts which the dealer obtained from Sims. Unfortunately the day before the cab was to be installed the dealer went out of business. Fortunately, I say that tongue and cheek, they called me, reboxed the cab and delivered it to my residence and that's when the problems started and still continue.

The first thing I did was to attempt inventory the parts. As noted previously in the thread this was made more than extremely difficult due to no real parts list and the poorly written instructions.

Thus far I have identified at least three missing parts. A call to Sims contact was Sharron has thus far produced little movement in the rectification of my problems. I might just as well have been talking to my refrigerator. She also indicated that because the dealer had purchase the cab that I would have to pay for any parts myself in order to receive them. I wasn't real happy with this but I bit the bullet so to speak and told her that would be fine and I would like to buy them now.

Again she returned to the You must call the dealer first theme. She indicated once I did that She could forward a quotation for the parts that I need and that the quote would also double as the ordering form.

All in all this has been and continues to be a nightmare. Cab photo displayed above may include optional accessories which are available at extra cost. Cab designs are subject to change without notice. Included in this cab is an electric wiper on the curved front safety glass windshield. The windshield glass is hinged and opens several inches at the bottom for improved ventilation.

This cab comes standard with a left hand hard door with sliding glass window and a right hand soft curtain. Custom floor mats and filler curtain to enclose openings under the seat area are also included.
